I am very excited to announce that this week will feature our Author-Meets-Critics for Antonia LoLordo’s book, “Locke’s Moral Man”, with Samuel Rickless, Jessica Gordon-Roth, and Shelley Weinberg as critics. The format for this feature will be to divide up the contributions across a number of posts, which will be released throughout the week. This is principally to prevent the feeling of being buried in one really long post that would be overwhelming to read in a single sitting. All posts will start with the title, “AMC—LMM:” so that it is easy to keep track of which posts are part of this series.
The series will begin at 12:05 pm today, with the first part of Rickless’s comments. After each critic’s contribution, we will post LoLordo’s reply to that critic.
This is our first attempt to organize such a session, so please feel free to give me feedback about whether this format and pacing works for you. It is my hope that we will regularly feature AMC discussions on books going into the future.
“Locke’s Moral Man” is available from Oxford University Press.
Thanks, and please spread the word.
I will add links here to all the individual posts as they appear on the blog:
